HESCO Bastion Ltd

Category: Hurricane and Flood Relief | 17/09/2010 - 11:58:58

When Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, it caused a humanitarian disaster and triggered massive flooding throughout the city.

After Hurricane Katrina, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers installed HESCO Concertainer® to close a breach in the canal levee.

Crushed limestone, soil, and rip-rap was used as fill material, for the Concertainer® units which provided the backbone strength in the levee core.
