Hesco Concertainer Gabions

The more conventional use of gabions is illustrated here in a number of civil engineering projects.

The Hesco Concertainer gabion is available in a number of different mesh configurations and finishes to suit a range of applications.

In most cases a unit with a larger diameter mesh is chosen for the facing panel to enable the contractor to achieve the best aesthetic finish.

		Left : Thorpe Arnold, Leicestershire. Up to 3.5m high this flush faced wall was built using 3.80/4.30mm PVC coated galvanised mesh to comply with Highways Agency requirements of 120yrs lifespan. The sloping top was created by modification of the gabions on site by the contractor.
Right: Altnagelvin Hospital Helicopter landing pad. This curved gabion wall up to 4.5m high, has two courses lined with "Sedum matting". The gabions are manufactured from a combination of 2.70/3.20mm and 3.80/4.30mm PVC coated weldmesh.
