This picture shows a substation having foam concrete pumped in to fill the void between the existing concrete walls.

This picture shows a substation having foam concrete pumped in to fill the void between the existing concrete walls. The foam concrete used was of high strength but low in density, the reason for the low density was not to put any undue pressure’s on the side walls, the foam concrete was used to bring up the level so a concrete slab could be placed on top to form the floor of the substation.
