With a $38 billion investment, and a new construction event in Dubai, the UAE outdoor design and landscape sector is set to experience a thriving 2013.
Taking place on 25-27 March 2013, Outdoor Design Build & Supply is a result of the government's strong commitment to developing the UAE's natural outdoor landscape. It is supported by Municipality of Abu Dhabi City and Al Ain Municipality, and presented by Dubai Municipality.
The event, which is being hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre, has been highlighted by research experts Ventures Middle East, who expect $38 billion in new construction contractor awards in 2013 from the UAE.
Streamline Marketing Group, who are organizing the exhibition, forecast that $3.8 billion, or 10%, will be invested in new garden and landscaping projects in the Emirates.

Outdoor Design Build & Supply's Project Manager, Thea Skelton, said the UAE and GCC garden and landscape sector are looking forward to a profitable future, adding that many large projects are being undertaken, with more to be unveiled in coming months.
"We are also seeing a marked growth in investment into green open spaces... with strong governmental support will continue to drive this forward," she said, with particular emphasis on leisure destinations such as golf courses, family attraction and sports stadiums.
Outdoor Design Build and Supply provides support to designers, landscape architects and developers by providing a dedicated exhibition addressing how outdoor space is used in construction projects.
The event has already attracted big names including Greenworks LLC, Terraverde, Orient Irrigation, Fitco Irrigation, Toscana Landscaping, and UK-based Timberwolf, who is looking to harness the Middle East's developing landscape sector.
Director of Marketing and HR at Timberwolf, Patrice Love, said the company has established an aggressive three-year expansion strategy to increase export trade from 18% to 40%. He added that Timberwolf would source a distributor through Outdoor Design Build & Supply's platform.
The UAE Society of Engineers, Garedenex and the Emirates Society of Landscape back the Outdoor Design Build and Supply.
