Each of these construction training courses are practical and enjoyable courses offer excellent value for money. They are designed to teach you the principles of each trade in the shortest time possible, such as

  • PLUMBING - Fitting a bathroom suite, moving radiators & plumbing in a washing machine. You will also gain a working knowledge of central heating systems
  • PLASTERING - Plasterboarding a ceiling, external rendering, dot & dab walls and window openings, skimming and over-skimming different surfaces.
  • BRICKWORK - Setting out buildings, interpreting plans, building a small extension laying bricks & blocks and gaining an understanding of different materials and tools.
  • TILING - Wall and floor tiling for kitchens and bathrooms, remedial work, under-floor heating, setting out, preparation and finishing.

Accredited NVQ Centre - these professional training courses and other specialist training sessions all take place under one roof at our accredited NVQ training centre.

Although intensive, these courses are designed to be fun and hands-on, with a low student to staff ratio. The course manager is City & Guilds qualified with over 12 years experience as NVQ assessor at one of Britain's most prestigious building colleges, so you can be assured of the best training possible. In addition, all courses are taken by highly experienced, City & Guilds qualified specialists with over 20 years experience, who adopt a hands-on approach rather than merely lecturing.

This technique, we find, is a far more effective means of absorbing facts and skills. We have run a number of specialist courses for large organisations, council's and other funded organisations.

Our courses also provide trainees with Witness Testimony towards NVQ, something no other construction training organisation in the UK can offer on these types of courses. We can also offer expert guidance and advice for those people who wish to follow on with full qualifications.
