SubscribeThis year has certainly started with a bang for Versalift UK, with new orders for the year to date showing an improvement from this time last year, with orders in from large fleet operators such as BT Fleet, ESB, together with a number from smaller contractors who have selected Versalift as their chosen vehicle mounted access platform provider.
Interestingly this has by and large been for 14m machines on larger vans, rather than the usual 13m, 3.5t GVW market that has historically been on Transits.
One of the many things that Versalift are proud of is our NEW lightweight ET36NF platform, being introduced in two stages, but ultimately will offer a 60kg lighter weight than that on offer last year and as such will provide over 300kg of spare payload on 3.5t GVW vans such as Transits, Masters and Movanos and unlike many of our competitors that figure allows for driver, passenger and fuel. Thus we believe offering the market something that no other professional telescopic platform manufacturer can achieve, for a full function machine.
Additionally the range of machines on offer broadens with a Ford Ranger based platform with fly boom, which has generated a lot of interest from those customers searching for a small off road vehicle with over 10.6m working height. These new light weight machines also lead the way to a range of heavy duty machines offering 265kg SWL later in the year on bigger vans.
Don't forget that Versalift are also the leading supplier of insulated mounts to the utillity companies and increasingly those working on forrestry programs, with developments of machines offering greater material handling capabilities and improved levels of serviceability through modifications to linkages and the location of ancillary equipment through the booms.
