G3 Systems set to grow Capabilities in UK, Europe and Middle East.

G3 Systems today announced that it has been acquired by IAP Worldwide Services, Inc (www.iapws.com).

IAP Worldwide Services is a leading government contractor providing a broad spectrum of services focused on global mission support for the US Department of Defence and other US government agencies. The company specialises in three lines of business: Contingency, logistics and procurement support; facilities management; and professional and technical services.

With headquarters operations in Cape Canaveral, Florida, IAP also has major offices in Irmo South Carolina; Panama City, Florida; and Washington D.C. IAP also has project sites in over 50 locations worldwide.

G3 will continue to provide its established customer base with the level of service and innovation customers have come to expect from G3 Systems but supported by a worldwide resource base. G3 provides a range of field systems to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and government agencies, including mobile and static hospitals, temporary accommodation, kitchens and hygiene systems.

When deployed, G3 staff provides support for these systems, which currently are in use in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as the UK. G3's engineering and management team also provides 'Through Life Support' packages through Contractor Logistic Support (CLS), including storage, maintenance, delivery and recovery of the equipment on behalf of its customers.

G3 Systems was previously part of the DCS Group based in Aalborg Denmark. DCS operates worldwide and provides a range of services, such as procuring or leasing equipment; integrating systems; provision of food and PX camp and project management; and logistics support.
