Hitachi Construction Machinery has announced the latest additions to its line-up of mid-range Zaxis excavators.
The ZX160-3 and ZX180-3 have been developed by Hitachi to further strengthen its range in this sector. The first phase of machines - the ZX210-3, ZX225US-3, ZX225USR-3, ZX250-3, ZX280-3 and ZX350-3, ZX470LCH-3 - were launched in 2006.
The previous range of Zaxis excavators was known for its quality, performance and reliability. However, Hitachi is continually reviewing its products and developing high quality machines to meet the increasing demands of the construction industry.
The new technologically advanced Zaxis-3 excavators are already in huge demand across Europe. This is due to the benefits that they bring to every job site. The ZX160-3 and ZX180-3 have been attributed with similar innovative features. This will ensure that they also provide end users with better performance, ultimate comfort and safety, and reduced running costs.
Better Performance
Hitachi has equipped the Zaxis-3 mid-range excavators with powerful - yet economical - and durable new Isuzu engines. This has extended to the new ZX160-3 and ZX180-3 models. These comply with European stage III emission regulations by further combusting exhaust gases to reduce particle matter output and levels of nitrogen oxide.
