Creep Testing
A number of creep testing frames are available for measurement of long term deformation under stress.
Standard isochronous and long term creep behaviour of isotropic polymers is available to ISO 899 using machines capable of stresses up to 20MPa and above ambient temperatures (100°C maximum).
Creep of oriented fibres at room temperature is possible using purpose built equipment. These rigs can be utilised to measure creep properties which relate to stress-crack performance of materials.
Compressive creep can be monitored using compressive loading jigs and versatile application of linear transducers and recording systems.
