A Demolition Job for an Atlas Copco Grapple
Using a MultiGrapple model MG 2700 the Sottrum-based demolition company ATR Abbruch T...
With the BP 2100 Atlas Copco is extending its range of hydraulic bulk pulverizers presented on the Bauma 2007 fair.
With its angular design the BP pulverizer's strong point is the secondary demolition and the crushing and separation of reinforced concrete elements.
The concept of a moving jaw in combination with a powerful hydraulic cylinder and a speed valve has stood the test: bulk pulverizers produce high crushing forces in conjunction with short closing times and hence allow the job to be completed within a very short time.
The wide angular pulverizing jaw easily picks up the heap of debris and offers a productivity benefit during the separation of rebar and concrete and during the subsequent crushing of the concrete elements into grades of grain suitable for crushing and backfilling.
The robust design of both the moving jaw and housing warrants a high stability and durability of the machine under severe loads. The wear elements such as crushing teeth, crushing plates and cutter blades can be turned and/or replaced on site using on-board equipment.
The standard hydraulic rotation unit allows the BP 2900 to be easily and rapidly positioned so that it can also be used for a primary demolition of ceilings and walls.
The service weight of 2115 kg makes the BP 2100 suitable for carriers of the 18 to 27 metric tons weight class.
