Hitachi Sumitomo Launches Two Crawler Cranes at Intermat

Hitachi Sumitomo will display it's two new crawler cranes for the European market at the Intermat exhibition in Paris, the new SCX2800-2 (capacity 275 tonne) and the SCX800 HD-2 (capacity 80 tonne) heavy duty model.

The SCX2800-2 succeeds the SCX2500 and is designed for easy self assembly and transport - maximum component weight is 45 tonnes and maximum width is 3 mtrs. The 80 tonner can be used for clamshell applications and has a 196 kN (20 tonne) line pull winch.

Changes for Europe include the cabin layout with different types of operating levers.
